WHO RUNS YOUR EVENTS
Meet our VIP Hosts
VIP Hosts run meetups in their own part of the Charlotte area, so there's always a familiar face making sure you feel welcome — whether it's your first event or your fiftieth.
Jay
Community Events Leader
Lake Norman
Jay's been with the group since August 2024, now an All Star Contributor, and takes over as Community Event Leader for Lake Norman. He runs the Lake Norman Meet & Greet Icebreaker — bi-monthly, day/time varies, so watch the event page.
Jay's take on this one:
"What does Madonna, Prince, and Earth, Wind & Fire have in common? If you guessed it has to do with Lake Norman Meet and Greet Icebreaker this Thursday at 6:30, you're correct. Look for 'Sunny,' our balloon mascot. See you there and bring your fun!"
Look for Sunny, say hi to Jay.
Steve
Community Events Leader
Cabarrus County
Steve runs the meetups in Cabarrus County. Dinners, trivia, and whatever else he comes up with. He's a VIP Host and one of our Events Leaders, so if you live out that way, he's the one putting things on the calendar.
He's also a car guy. If you see him at an event, that's a safe topic.
