40to60s Friends of Charlotte started as a simple idea — adults in their 40s, 50s, and 60s need real ways to meet people too, not just kids and 20-somethings. What began as a small Facebook group has grown into a community of over 10,800+ members across the Charlotte area, all showing up for the same reason: good company, no pressure, no agenda.

I handle a bit of everything here — big parties, escape rooms, themed nights like the Chamber of Secrets Halloween party, plus the props and sets that go with them. I host events and post the weekly content that keeps the group running, so there's always a reason to show up.
Five years ago, Jen and I were looking for exactly what you're looking for now — a way to connect with friends our age who share our interests. That search turned into 40 to 60s Friends of Charlotte.

Jennifer has been a trusted adviser and steadfast supporter since the founding of 40 to 60s Friends of Charlotte. She watches over everything posted to the group, keeping the community the place it's meant to be. A natural extrovert, she cohosts events with David and brings the warmth and energy that makes people want to come back.
