This Membership Agreement ("Agreement") is between Purrfect Catio, LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company doing business as "40to60s Friends of Charlotte" ("we," "us," or "the Club"), and the individual identified in the signature block below ("you" or "the Member"). By signing below or completing checkout for VIP Access, you agree to the terms of this Agreement.
You are enrolling in "VIP Access," the Club's membership plan, for a fee of $5.65 per month (the "Membership Fee"), billed monthly in advance to the payment method you provide at signup through our payment processor, Wix Payments. The Membership Fee is a fee for ongoing membership access and its associated benefits described in Section 2 — it is not a payment for any single event, and it does not guarantee your attendance at, or the occurrence of, any specific event.

2. What VIP Access Includes
As a VIP Access member in good standing, you are eligible for:

A voucher for entry to one of two flagship parties the Club holds each year;

Access to meetups hosted by the Club's designated VIP hosts;

A listing in the Club's private member directory;

Access to the Club's private member community feed.
Specific event dates, venues, capacity, and formats are announced separately and may change. VIP Access makes you eligible for these benefits; it does not guarantee a seat at any particular event, a specific date, or any outcome from your participation (see Section 10).
Each billing cycle is a one (1) month term. This Agreement automatically renews for successive one (1) month terms on the same day-of-month as your original signup date, and your payment method will be charged the then-current Membership Fee at the start of each renewal term, unless you cancel before the renewal date as described in Section 5.
This automatic-renewal arrangement is disclosed here clearly and conspicuously, as required by North Carolina law (N.C.G.S. § 75-41). Because each term is 30 days or fewer, no additional advance renewal notice is required before charging you — your right to cancel before any renewal is described in Section 5.

4. Price Changes
We may change the Membership Fee for future terms by giving you at least 30 days' written notice (by email to the address on file) before the change takes effect. If you continue your membership past the effective date in that notice, you accept the new fee for subsequent terms. You may cancel at no charge any time before the change takes effect.
5. Your Right to Cancel
5.1 Three-Day Right to Cancel (applies to your initial enrollment). As required by North Carolina's Prepaid Entertainment Contracts Act, you may cancel this Agreement for any reason until midnight of the third business day after the date you first sign it, with no charge and a full refund of anything already paid. See the boxed notice above the signature block for exactly how.
5.2 Ongoing Cancellation (any time after that). After the initial three-business-day period, you may cancel your VIP Access membership at any time, effective at the end of your then-current paid month, by emailing 40to60s@gmail.com or through your account settings on 40to60s.com. Canceling stops future renewals; it does not by itself entitle you to a refund of the current month's fee except as described in Section 6.
6. Refunds
6.1 Hardship refund. If you're unable to use your membership because of death, disability, or a permanent move to a location more than 30 miles from the Club's service area, we will refund at least 90% of the pro-rated cost of your unused membership within 30 days of your (or your representative's) request.
6.2 General refund right. Once the total Membership Fees you've paid us over the life of your membership exceed $1,500, you have the right to a pro-rata refund of unused membership on cancellation, less a cancellation fee of up to the lesser of 25% of the unused amount or $500.
6.3 How to request a refund. Email 40to60s@gmail.com. We will process any refund owed under this Section within 30 days of your request.
7. Your Personal Information
On written request, we will provide or return to you any personal or private information we hold about you — including photos, profile answers, and evaluations — within 30 days. Our full Privacy Statement (available at 40to60s.com) explains what we collect, why, and how we handle it more generally.
Your membership and event attendance are subject to the Club's Code of Conduct (available at 40to60s.com), which you agree to follow. We may suspend or remove members who violate it, using the process described there. Removal for a Code of Conduct violation doesn't waive whatever refund rights you already have under Section 6 for fees you've already paid, except for any cancellation fee we're entitled to retain under Section 6.2.

9. Events Are Separate — A Waiver Is Required to Attend
VIP Access membership is separate from, and does not substitute for, the Event Liability Waiver, Release, and Assumption of Risk that all attendees — members and guests alike — must sign before attending any in-person Club event. Membership makes you eligible to attend; it doesn't waive the risks described in that separate document.
10. No Guarantee of Outcomes
The Club provides a platform, events, and a community for adults to meet and socialize. We don't guarantee that you'll form any particular friendship, relationship, business connection, or other outcome from your participation.
11. Electronic Signature
By checking the box or submitting your signature electronically, you consent to enter into this Agreement electronically under North Carolina's Uniform Electronic Transactions Act. You may request a paper copy of this Agreement at any time by emailing 40to60s@gmail.com.
12. Governing Law and Venue
This Agreement is governed by North Carolina law. Any dispute arising from it will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
13. Entire Agreement; Amendment; Severability
This Agreement, together with the Code of Conduct and Privacy Statement it references, is the entire agreement between you and the Club regarding VIP Access membership. We may update this Agreement going forward by posting a revised version at 40to60s.com and, for fee changes, giving the notice described in Section 4; for other material changes, we'll give you reasonable advance notice. If any provision of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL
You, the buyer, may cancel this contract at any time prior to midnight of the third business day after the date of this contract. To cancel, you must notify the seller in writing, not later than midnight of [DATE], at the address stated in Section 14 above.
This date is calculated automatically as 3 business days from your signup date — it is different for every member and cannot be a fixed date on this page.
